JUSTICE (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1995.

JUSTICE (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1995.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Justice and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Justice (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1995.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Justice conferred on her by or under the Acts specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby delegated to AUSTIN CURRIE, Minister of State at the Department of Justice.

SCHEDULE.

Children Acts, 1908 to 1989.

Censorship of Films Acts, 1923 to 1992.

Censorship of Publications Acts, 1929 to 1967.

Video Recordings Acts, 1989 and 1992.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 20th day of January, 1995.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order delegates the powers and duties of the Minister for Justice under the Acts specified in the Schedule to this Order to AUSTIN CURRIE, Minister of State at the Department of Justice.
