S.I. No. 86/1995:

ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, 1994 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1995.

ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, 1994 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1995.

The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994 (No. 7 of 1994) hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Act, 1994 (Commencement) Order, 1995.

2. (1) Sections 40,41 and 47 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994 shall come into operation on the 19th day of April, 1995.

(2) Section 43 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994 shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1995.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for the Environment, this 11th day of April, 1995.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation certain provisions of the Road Traffic Act, 1994 (No. 7 of 1994).
