LOCAL AUTHORITIES (TRAFFIC WARDENS) ACT, 1975 (DISPOSAL OF MONEYS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1995.

The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (8) of section 3 and section 6 of the Local Authorities (Traffic Wardens) Act, 1975 (No. 14 of 1975) hereby makes the following Regulations:--

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Local Authorities (Traffic Wardens) Act, 1975 (Disposal of Moneys) (Amendment) Regulations, 1995.

(2) These Regulations and the Local Authorities (Traffic Wardens) Act, 1975 (Disposal of Moneys) Regulations, 1975 ( S.I. No. 262 of 1975 ) shall be construed as one and may be cited together as the Local Authorities (Traffic Wardens) Act, 1975 (Disposal of Moneys) Regulations, 1975 and 1995.

2. Paragraph (b) of article 3 of the Local Authorities (Traffic Wardens) Act, 1975 (Disposal of Moneys) Regulations, 1975 is hereby amended by the deletion of the words "with the approval of the Minister for Local Government".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These regulations remove the need for the approval of the Minister for the Environment to the disposal, by local authorities, of income received by them under Section 3 of the Local Authorities (Traffic Wardens) Act, 1975 .
