TOUR OPERATORS (LICENSING) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1995.

I, MICHAEL LOWRY, Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 12 of the Transport (Tour Operators and Travel Agents) Act, 1982 (No. 3 of 1982), and the Communications (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 92 of 1987 ) (as adapted by the Tourism, Transport and Communications (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1993 ( S.I. No. 17 of 1993 ) ), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Tour Operators (Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations, 1995.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of August, 1995.

3. In these Regulations, "regulation 10" means regulation 10 of the Tour Operators (Licensing) Regulations, 1993 ( S.I. No. 182 of 1993 ).

4. (1) Paragraph (a) of Regulation 10 is hereby amended by the substitution of the following Table for the Table to that paragraph:

(2) Paragraph (c) of Regulation 10 is hereby amended by the substitution of "£122" for "£111".

(3) Paragraph (d) of Regulation 10 is hereby amended by the substitution of "£243" for "£221".

The Minister for Finance hereby consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these Regulations is to revise the level of fees payable in respect of applications for a tour operators licence and in respect of amendment of such licences.
