IRISH MEDICINES BOARD ACT, 1995 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1995.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection 2 of section 38 of the Irish Medicines Board Act, 1995 (No. 29 of 1995), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Irish Medicines Board Act, 1995 (Commencement) Order, 1995.

2. The Irish Medicines Board Act, 1995 , except in so far as is provided for in paragraphs (a), (b) and (e) of subsection 1 of section 4, and section 35 and the schedule to the Act, shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1996.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring the Irish Medicines Board Act, 1995 , with the exception of paragraphs (a), (b) and (e) of subsection (1) of section 4, and section 35 and the schedule to the Act, into operation on the 1st of January, 1996.
