		S.I. No. 254/1997: UNIVERSITIES ACT, 1997 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1997
		UNIVERSITIES ACT, 1997 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1997
		I, NIAMH BHREATHNACH, Minister for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Universities Act, 1997 (No. 24 of 1997) hereby make the following order:
		1. This order may be cited as the Universities Act, 1997 (Commencement) Order, 1997.
		2. The 16th day of June, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Universities Act, 1997 (No. 24 of 1997) shall come into operation.
		GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 13th day of June, 1997.
