IRISH TAKEOVER PANEL ACT, 1997 (PRESCRIBED STOCK EXCHANGE) REGULATIONS, 1997.

I, PAT RABBITTE, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 22 (1) of the Irish Takeover Panel Act, 1997 (No. 5 of 1997), and the Enterprise and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 165 of 1997 ), hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Irish Takeover Panel Act, 1997 (Prescribed Stock Exchange) Regulations, 1997.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1997.

3. In these Regulations "Irish Stock Exchange" has the meaning assigned to it by section 3 (1) of the Stock Exchange Act, 1995 (No. 9 of 1995).

4. The Irish Stock Exchange is hereby prescribed as a stock exchange for the purposes of the Irish Takeover Panel Act, 1997 (No. 5 of 1997).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations prescribe the Irish Stock Exchange as a stock exchange for the purposes of the Irish Takeover Panel Act, 1997 .
