NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR EDUCATIONAL AWARDS ACT, 1979 (DESIGNATION OF INSTITUTIONS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1997

I, NIAMH BHREATHNACH, Minister for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 20 (2) of the National Council for Educational Awards Act, 1979 (No. 30 of 1979) (as adapted by the Public Service (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 81 of 1987 ) ), with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance and after consultation with the National Council for Educational Awards, hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the National Council for Educational Awards Act, 1979 (Designation of Institutions) (Amendment) Order, 1997.

2. The Schedule to the National Council for Educational Awards Act, 1979 (Designation of Institutions) Order, 1991 ( S.I. No. 220 of 1991 ), is hereby amended by the substitution for the matter contained therein of the following:

"LSB College

Dublin Business School.".

3. The Schedule to the National Council for Educational Awards Act, 1979 (Designation of Institutions) (No. 2) Order, 1991 ( S.I. No. 267 of 1991 ), is hereby amended by the substitution for "The Institute of Education, Business College." of "Portobello College.".

4. The Schedule to the National Council for Educational Awards Act, 1979 (Designation of Institutions) (No. 2) Order, 1994 ( S.I. No. 49 of 1994 ), is hereby amended by the substitution for "Skerry's College, Cork." of "Skerry's Business College.".
