		INVESTOR COMPENSATION ACT, 1998 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1998.
		I, CHARLIE McCREEVY, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Investor Compensation Act, 1998 (No. 37 of 1998), hereby order as follows:
		1. This Order may be cited as the Investor Compensation Act, 1998 (Commencement) Order, 1998.
		2. The Investor Compensation Act, 1998 , shall come into operation on the 1st day of August, 1998.
		GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 27th day of July, 1998.

		EXPLANATORY NOTE.
		This Order commences the Investor Compensation Act, 1998 on the 1st day of August 1998.
