FOOD SAFETY AUTHORITY OF IRELAND ACT, 1998 (ESTABLISHMENT DAY) ORDER, 1998

FOOD SAFETY AUTHORITY OF IRELAND ACT, 1998 (ESTABLISHMENT DAY) ORDER, 1998

The Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3 of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland Act, 1998 (No. 29 of 1998), hereby orders as follows.

1. This Order may be cited as the Food Safety Authority of Ireland Act, 1998 (Establishment Day) Order, 1998.

2. The 1st day of January, 1999, is hereby appointed as the establishment day for the purposes of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland Act, 1998 (No. 29 of 1998).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The effect of this Order is to provide that the establishment day shall be the 1st day of January, 1999.
