HARBOURS ACT, 1996 (COMMENCEMENT) (NO 4) ORDER, 1998

I, Michael Woods, Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Harbours Act, 1996 (No. 11 of 1996), as adapted by the Marine (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 301 of 1997 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Harbours Act, 1996 (Commencement) (No 4) Order, 1998.

2. The 11th day of January, 1999, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Harbours Act, 1996 (No. 11 of 1996), shall come into operation in relation to the Port of Waterford Company.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order fixes the 11th January, 1999 as the day on which the Harbours Act, 1996 come in to operation in relation to the Port of Waterford Company.
