FIREARMS (TEMPORARY PROVISIONS) ACT, 1998, CONTINUANCE ORDER, 1999.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 4(5) of the Firearms (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1998 (No. 32 of 1998) , hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Firearms (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1998 , Continuance Order, 1999.

2. The Firearms (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1998 (No. 32 of 1998) , is hereby continued in operation for a period of 12 months from the 14th day of July, 1999.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.)

This Order provides for the continuing in operation of the provisions of the Firearms (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1998 , for a period of 12 months from 14 July, 1999.
