I, JOHN O'DONOGHUE, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7(1) of the Prisons Act, 1970 (No. 11 of 1970) , as adapted by the Justice (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 298 of 1997 ), and after consultation with the Visiting Committee to Saint Partick's Institution, hereby order as follows: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Prisons Act, 1970 (Section 7) Order, 1999. |
||||||||
2. The period of 24 months beginning on the 28th day of June, 1999, is hereby specified for the purpose of section 7 of the Prisons Act, 1970 ( No. 11 of 1970 ). |
