Copyright And Related Rights (Provision Of Modified Works) (Designated Bodies) Order, 2000

I, TOM KITT, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104(3) of the S.I. No. 330 of 1997 ), hereby order as follows:

1.        This Order may be cited as the Copyright and Related Rights (Provision of Modified Works) (Designated Bodies) Order, 2000 and shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 2001.

2.        In this Order “the Act” is the Copyright and Related Rights Act, 2000 (No. 28 of 2000) .

3.        All organisations and establishments making and supplying works modified in order to meet the special needs of persons who have a physical or mental disability, and which are not established or conducted for profit or controlled by a body established or conducted for profit, are designated as bodies for the purposes of section 104 of the Act.
