European Communities (Prohibition of the Sale and Supply of Petroleum and Certain Petroleum Products to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia) Regulations, 2001 |

I, Mary Harney, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 ( No. 27 of 1972 ), and for the purpose of giving effect to Council Regulation (EC) No. 2228/20001 of 9 October 2000, hereby make the following regulations: |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Prohibition of the Sale and Supply of Petroleum and Certain Petroleum Products to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia) Regulations, 2001. |

2. The European Communities (Prohibition of the Sale and Supply of Petroleum and Certain Petroleum Products to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia) Regulations, 1999 ( S.I. No. 184 of 1999 ) are revoked. |

The effect of this Order is to revoke the Statutory Instrument that provided for penalties for breaches of the EU prohibition on the sale and supply of petroleum and certain petroleum products to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, which were removed by Council Regulation (EC) No. 2228/2000 adopted on 9 October 2000. |
