National Pensions Reserve Fund Act, 2000 (Establishment Day) Order, 2001

I, Charlie McCreevy, T.D., Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the National Pensions Reserve Fund Act, 2000 ( No. 33 of 2000 ), hereby order as follows:

1.       This Order may be cited as the National Pensions Reserve Fund Act, 2000 (Establishment Day) Order, 2001.

2.       The 2nd day of April, 2001, is appointed as the establishment day for the purposes of the National Pensions Reserve Fund Act, 2000 (No. 33 of 2000) .

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not a part of the Instrument, and does not purport to be a legal interpretation)

This Order appoints 2 April 2001 as the establishment day for the National Pensions Reserve Fund Act, 2000 . On that day shall stand established the National Pensions Reserve Fund and the National Pensions Reserve Fund Commission.
