WASTE MANAGEMENT (PRESCRIBED DATE) REGULATIONS, 2001 |

The Minister for the Environment and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 7 and 22 of the Waste Management Act, 1996 (No. 10 of 1996) hereby makes the following Regulations:- |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Waste Management (Prescribed Date) Regulations, 2001. |
||||||
|
2. In these Regulations, “the Act” means the Waste Management Act, 1996 . |
||||||
|
3. The 14th day of September 2001 is the prescribed date for the making of a waste management plan for the purposes of subsection (2) or (3) of section 22 of the Act. |

These Regulations provide that 14 September 2001 is the prescribed date by which a waste management plan under section 22 of the Waste Management Act, 1996 must be made. |
