European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Cereals) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 2001

1. (1)  These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Cereals) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 2001.

(2)    These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of January 2002.

2.     In these Regulations-

“the Principal Regulations” means the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Cereals) Regulations, 1999 ( S.I. No. 181 of 1999 ).

3.       Annex II of the Principal Regulations is hereby amended by the addition of the following entries to Part A of Annex II:

These Regulations amend existing Regulations on the fixing of maximum residue levels for pesticides in and on cereals.

^(p) Indicates provisional maximum residue level established in accordance with Article 4(1)(f) of Directive 91/414/EEC: all provisional maximum residue levels for these pesticide residues will be treated as definitive in accordance with Article 10 of the Directive with effect from 21 June 2005.

^(p) Indicates provisional maximum residue level established in accordance with Article 4(1)(f) of Directive 91/414/EEC: all provisional maximum residue levels for these pesticide residues will be treated as definitive in accordance with Article 10 of the Directive with effect from 21 June 2005.

^(p) Indicates provisional maximum residue level established in accordance with Article 4(1)(f) of Directive 91/414/EEC: all provisional maximum residue levels for these pesticide residues will be treated as definitive in accordance with Article 10 of the Directive with effect from 21 June 2005.

^(p1) Indicates provisional maximum residue level established in accordance with Article 4(1)(f) of Directive 91/414/EEC: all provisional maximum residue levels for these pesticide residues will be treated as definitive in accordance with Article 10 of the Directive with effect from 1 August 2003.

^(p2) Indicates provisional maximum residue level established in accordance with Article 4(1)(f) of Directive 91/414/EEC: all provisional maximum residue levels for these pesticide residues will be treated as definitive in accordance with Article 10 of the Directive with effect from 21 August 2005.
