1.   These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Foodstuffs of Animal Origin) (Amendment) Regulations 2006.

2.   The European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Foodstuffs of Animal Origin) Regulations 1999 ( S.I. No. 180 of 1999 ) are amended, in Regulation 2(1), by substituting for the definition of -�Directive-� the following -

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation)

These Regulations include the maximum pesticide level for picoxystrobin as listed in Part A of Annex II and replacing the maximum residue levels for propiconazole as set out in Part B of Annex II to Commission Directive 86/363/EEC.
