MARINE (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (NO. 2) ORDER 2006

MARINE (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (NO.2) ORDER 2006

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1.   This Order may be cited as the Marine (Delegation of Ministerial Functions)(No. 2) Order 2006.

2.   The powers and duties of the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources conferred on him by the Sea-Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction Act 2006 (No. 8 of 2006), other than sections 16, 40, 47, 48, 52, 74 and 98, are delegated to John Browne, Minister of State at the Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources.
