Land Purchase Annuities Redemption Scheme (Amendment) Regulations 2006

The Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 3 of the Land Act 2005 (No. 24 of 2005), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Land Purchase Annuities Redemption Scheme (Amendment) Regulations 2006.

2. Schedule 1 to the Land Purchase Annuities Redemption Scheme Regulations 2005 (S.I. 830 of 2005) is amended -

(a)  in paragraph 2 by the substitution of -�31^st day of October 2006-� for -�30^th day of June 2006-�,

(b)  in paragraph 4 by the substitution of -�31 October 2006-� for -�30 June 2006-�;

(c)  in paragraph 5 (a) by the substitution of -�31 October 2006-� for -�30 June 2006-�; and

(d)  in paragraph 5 (b) by the substitution of -�31 October 2006-� for -�30 June 2006-�.

The Minister for Finance consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations.

These Regulations provide for an extension to the date of the land purchase annuity scheme provided for in The Land Purchase Annuities Redemption Scheme Regulations 2005.
