I, Martin Cullen, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6(3) of the Aer Lingus Act 2004 (No. 10 of 2004), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Aer Lingus Act 2004 (Commencement of Section 6(2)) Order 2006. 2. The 27th day of September 2006 is appointed as the day on which section 6(2) of the Aer Lingus Act 2004 (No. 10 of 2004) comes into operation. |

The purpose of this Order is to commence Section 6 (2) of the Aer Lingus Act 2004 concerning the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Acts 1977 to 2001 and the date on which it shall cease to apply to the Company. |
