Commission for Public Service Appointments (Additional Function) Order 2006

Made by the Minister for Finance

I, Brian Cowen, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13(3) of the Public Service Management (Recruitment and Appointment) Act 2004 (No. 33 of 2004) hereby order as follows:

1.  This order may be cited as the Commission for Public Service Appointments (Additional Function) Order 2006.

2.  The following additional function is conferred on the Commission for Public Service Appointments:

Codes of practice published by the Commission relating to recruitment and selection processes may make provision, in respect of any such process, that it may be confined to unestablished civil servants and may so provide either generally or in respect of any class or classes of unestablished civil servants.
