HEALTH AND CHILDREN (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (No. 2) ORDER 2008

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 24th June, 2008.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Health and Children and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Health and Children (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2008.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Health and Children conferred on her by or under the enactments specified in the Schedule are delegated to John Moloney, Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children.

SCHEDULE

Section 4 of the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2001 (No. 14 of 2001)

Mental Health Act 2001 (No. 25 of 2001)

Part 2 and section 32 of the Disability Act 2005 (No. 14 of 2005)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation)

This order delegates to John Moloney, Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children the Statutory powers and duties of the Minister for Health and Children mentioned in the Order.
