I, MARY HARNEY, Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (4) of the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 (No. 25 of 2009), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 (Commencement) Order 2010.

2. The 1st day of April 2010 is appointed as the day on which Part 4 of the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 (No. 25 of 2009) shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings Part 4 of the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 into operation. Part 4 provides for the dissolution of the National Cancer Screening Service Board and for the transfer of the Board's employees, liabilities, property, etc. to the Health Service Executive.
