S.I. No. 365/2010 - Diplomatic and Consular Fees (Amendment) Regulations 2010.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

"Iris Oifigiúil" of 27th July, 2010.

I, MICHEÁL MARTIN, Minister for Foreign Affairs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the section 28 of the Passports Act 2008 (No. 4 of 2008), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Diplomatic and Consular Fees (Amendment) Regulations 2010.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 September 2010.

2.The Diplomatic and Consular Fees Regulations 2001 ( S.I. No. 117 of 2001 ) (as amended by the Diplomatic and Consular Fees (Amendment) Regulations 2009 ( S.I. No. 21 of 2009 )) are amended in Part I of the Second Schedule by substituting "or within five days" for "or on the day" in column (2) at Reference Numbers 8 and 9.

The Minister for Finance consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations.

The purpose of these Regulations is to amend the Diplomatic and Consular Fees Regulations 2001, as amended, to provide for changes in the fee structure for passports.
