I, DERMOT AHERN, Minister for Justice and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Fines Act 2010 (No. 8 of 2010) (as adapted by the Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2010 ( S.I. No. 216 of 2010 )), hereby order as follows: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Fines Act 2010 (Commencement) Order 2010. |
||
2. The 4th day of January 2011 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Fines Act 2010 (No. 8 of 2010) shall come into operation: |
||
(a) Parts 1 and 2; and |
||
(b) sections 12 and 14. |
||
