I, ALAN SHATTER, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 29 (2) of the Courts Service Act 1998 (No. 8 of 1998) (as adapted by the Justice and Law Reform (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 138 of 2011 )), hereby order as follows: |

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Courts Service Act 1998 (Section 29(2)) Order 2011. |
||
(2) This Order comes into operation on 1 November 2011. |
||
2. Schedule 2 to the Courts Service Act 1998 (No. 8 of 1998) is amended by the insertion in columns 1, 2 and 3, respectively, of that Schedule after the seventh entry therein of: |

This Order amends Schedule 2 to the Courts Service Act 1998 (No. 8 of 1998) in order to transfer the responsibility for the appointment of temporary District Probate Registrars, from the Minister for Justice and Equality to the Courts Service. |
