I, BRENDAN HOWLIN, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 4 (1) of the Section 9 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 2011 (No. 10 of 2011), hereby make the following Regulations: |
||
1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 2012. |
||
(2) The Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1964 to 2011 and these Regulations may be cited together as the Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1964 to 2012. |
||
2. The organisations specified in the Schedule to these Regulations are hereby designated as approved organisations for the purposes of Section 4 of the Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963 (No. 24 of 1963). |

Section 4 of the Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963 provides for the transfer of pensionable service in the case of staff transfers between the Civil Service and "approved organisations", and between one "approved organisation" and another. These regulations designate the organisations set out in the schedule as "approved organisations". |
