I, JAMES REILLY, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 16(2) (as amended by section 9 of the Criminal Justice (Withholding of Information on Offences against Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012 (No. 24 of 2012)) of the Criminal Justice (Female Genital Mutilation) Act 2012 (No. 11 of 2012), hereby order as follows: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Female Genital Mutilation) Act 2012 (Commencement) Order 2012. |
||
2. The 20th day of September 2012 is appointed as the day on which the Criminal Justice (Female Genital Mutilation) Act 2012 (No. 11 of 2012) shall come into operation. |
