I, PHIL HOGAN, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on my by sections 14 and 16 of the Local Government (Household Charge) Act 2011 , hereby make the following regulations. |

Citation |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government (Household Charge) (Prescribed Person) Regulations 2012. |

Prescribed Person |
||
2. The Private Residential Tenancies Board, established under section 150 of the Residential Tenancies Act 2004 , is a prescribed person for the purposes of paragraph (c) of subsection (1) of section 14 of the Local Government (Household Charge) Act 2011 . |

EXPLANATORY NOTE |

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) |

These Regulations prescribe that the Private Residential Tenancies Board shall be provided by a local authority with information which has been obtained pursuant to that local authoirty-�s implementation of the Local Government (Household Charge) Act 2011 . The information must be reasonably required to enable the Board to perform its functions. |
