Keeping a dog without a licence, contrary to section 2 of the Act

Alt/Section 27(1)(a)

Seilbh a ghlacadh ar mhadra, de bhun athrú úinéireachta gan ceadúnas madra ginearálta ábhartha a bheith ag duine agus sula neiseofar ceadúnas madra i leith an mhadra sin, contrártha d’alt 2 den Acht

Taking possession of a dog pursuant to a change of ownership without having a relevant general dog licence and before the issue of a dog licence in respect of that dog, contrary to section 2 of the Act

Alt/Section 27(1)(a)

Seilbh ar mhadra a aistriú, de bhun athrú úinéireachta, chuig duine eile nach sealbhóir é nó í ar cheadúnas madra le haghaidh an mhadra sin nó ar cheadúnas madra ginearálta ábhartha, contrártha d’alt 2 den Acht

Transferring possession of a dog pursuant to a change of ownership to another person who is not the holder of a dog licence in respect of that dog or of a relevant general dog licence, contrary to section 2 of the Act

Alt/Section 27(1)(a)

Maidir le madra ar leat é, tusa nó duine eile a bheidh ina fheighil, é a cheadú a bheith in áit seachas- (a) in áitreabh an úinéara, nó (b) in áitreabh cibé duine eile a bheidh i bhfeighil an mhadra, nó (c) in áitreabh aon duine eile, le toiliú an duine sin, agus loiceadh an madra a thionlacan agus é a choimeád faoi rialú éifeachtúil contrártha d’alt 9 den Acht

Permitting a dog of which you are the owner or other person in charge to be in a place other than- (a) the premises of the owner, or (b) the premises of such other person in charge of the dog, or (c) the premises of any other person, with the consent of that person, and failing to accompany it and keep it under effectual control, contrary to section 9 of the Act

Alt/Section 27(1)(b)

Cú a cheadú a bheith in áit phoiblí mura mbeidh an cú sin ar éill nó ar slabhra a bheidh sách láidir contrártha d’alt 10 den Acht

Permitting a greyhound, which is not being led by means of a sufficiently strong chain or leash, to be in a public place contrary to section 10 of the Act

Níos mó ná ceithre chú sa turas a bheith ar éill ag duine in áit phoiblí nó a chur faoi deara nó a cheadú d’aon duine amháin níos mó ná ceithre chú sa turas a bheith ar éill aige in áit phoiblí, contrártha d’alt 10 den Acht

Leading or causing or permitting to be led by any one person, more than four greyhounds at a time in a public place, contrary to section 10 of the Act

Alt/Section 27(1)(b)

I gcás go dtiocfaidh duine ar mhadra fáin agus go nglacfaidh an duine seilbh air, loiceadh an méid seo a leanas a dhéanamh- (a) an madra a thabhairt ar ais dá úinéir, nó (b) an madra a sheachadadh ar mhaor madraí, nó (c) an madra a choinneáil agus fógra i scríbhinn ina mbeidh tuairisc ar an madra, seoladh na háite inar thángthas air agus seoladh na háite ina bhfuil sé á choinneáil, a thabhairt don chomhalta i gceannas ag an Stáisiún Garda is gaire don áit inar thángthas ar an madra, nó do mhaor madraí, contrártha d’alt 13 den Acht

Having found and taken possession of a stray dog, failing to- (a) return the dog to its owner, or (b) deliver the dog to a dog warden, or (c) detain the dog and give notice in writing containing a description of the dog, the address of the place where it was found, and the address of the place where it is detained to the member in charge at the nearest Garda Station to the place where the dog was found, or to a dog warden, contrary to section 13 of the Act

I gcás go mbeidh forais réasúnacha agat lena chreidiúint maidir le madra fáin, a d’urghabháil tú, gur chiap sé beostoc nó go bhfuil sé ar tí beostoc a chiapadh, loiceadh an madra sin a sheachadadh ar mhaor madraí, contrártha d’alt 13 den Acht

Failing to deliver to a dog warden a stray dog which you seized where you believed that the dog had worried or was about to worry livestock, contrary to section 13 of the Act

Alt/Section 27(1)(b)

Ceadúnas madra nó ceadúnas madra ginearálta a thabhairt ar aird laistigh de dheich lá ó dháta na hiarrata ó mhaor madraí le haghaidh madra ar leat é, a bhfuil tú ina fheighil nó atá i do sheilbh, contrártha d’alt 16 den Acht

Failing to produce, within ten days of being requested to do so by a dog warden, a dog licence or a general dog licence in respect of a dog of which you are the owner or in charge or in possession, contrary to section 16 of the Act

Failing to ensure that a dog wears a collar bearing the name and address of the owner inscribed thereon or on a plate, badge or disc attached thereto, contrary to article 6 of the Control of Dogs Regulations, 1998

Sonraí ar choiléar a bheidh ar mhadra, nó ar phláta, suaitheantas nó diosca a bheidh daingnithe den choiléar, a athrú, a aghlot, a lot nó a fhágáil do-léite, contrártha d’airteagal 6 de na Rialacháin um Rialú Madraí, 1998

Altering, defacing, mutilating or rendering illegible the particulars on a collar worn by a dog, or on a plate, badge or disc attached thereto, contrary to article 6 of the Control of Dogs Regulations, 1998

Allowing a dog to wear a collar, or a plate, badge or disc attached thereto, which has been altered, defaced, mutilated or rendered illegible or upon which the particulars have become illegible, contrary to article 6 of the Control of Dogs Regulations, 1998

Allowing a dog that is required to be leashed in a public place to be unleashed in a public place, contrary to article 5 of the Control of Dogs Regulations, 1998

Allowing a dog that is required to be led in a public place by a person over the age of sixteen years who is capable of controlling the dog to be otherwise led in a public place, contrary to article 5 of the Control of Dogs Regulations, 1998
