Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 26th July, 2013.

I, PHIL HOGAN, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (7) of the Electoral, Local Government and Planning and Development Act 2013 (No. 27 of 2013) hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Electoral, Local Government and Planning and Development Act 2013 (Commencement) Order 2013.

2. The 23rd day of July 2013 is appointed as the day on which Part 4 of the Electoral, Local Government and Planning and Development Act 2013 comes into operation.

This Order brings into operation Part 4 of the Electoral, Local Government and Planning and Development Act 2013 , which deals with timelines for making applications to registration authorities for inclusion in the supplement to the postal and special voters lists of the electoral register.
