I, JAMES REILLY, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (3) of the Health Service Executive (Governance) Act 2013 (No. 23 of 2013), hereby order as follows: |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Health Service Executive (Governance) Act 2013 (Commencement) Order 2013. |
||
|
2. The 25th day of July 2013 is appointed as the day on which the Health Service Executive (Governance) Act 2013 (No. 23 of 2013) shall come into operation. |
||

This Order brings the Health Service Executive (Governance) Act 2013 (No. 23 of 2013) into operation. The Act abolishes the Board of the Health Service Executive and provides for a Directorate to be the new governing body of the Health Service Executive in place of the Board. |
