I, JAMES REILLY, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (4) of section 55 (amended by section 13 of the Health (Amendment) Act 2013 (No. 31 of 2013)) of the Health Act 1970 (No. 1 of 1970), having regard to the matters referred to in paragraph (c) of that subsection and having consulted with the Health Service Executive, hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Health Act 1970 (Fifth and Sixth Schedules) Regulations 2014.

2. These Regulations come into operation on 11 February 2014.

3. In these Regulations-

"Act of 1970" means the Health Act 1970 (No. 1 of 1970);

"Act of 2013" means the Health (Amendment) Act 2013 (No. 31 of 2013).

4. Each of the following hospitals which stands specified in the Fifth Schedule (inserted by section 16 of the Act of 2013) to the Act of 1970 is deleted from that Schedule:

(a) Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock, County Dublin;

(b) Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, Dublin;

(c) Peamount Hospital, Newcastle, County Dublin;

(d) St. Vincent’s Hospital, Fairview, Dublin.

5. Each of the following hospitals is prescribed for the purposes of the Sixth Schedule (inserted by section 17 of the Act of 2013) to the Act of 1970:

(a) Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock, County Dublin;

(b) Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, Dublin;

(c) Peamount Hospital, Newcastle, County Dublin;

(d) St. Vincent’s Hospital, Fairview, Dublin.

This Order deletes four hospitals from the Fifth Schedule of the Health Act 1970 , as added to that Act by Schedule 2 of the Health Amendment Act 2013; and adds those hospitals to the Sixth Schedule of the Health Act 1970 , as added to that Act by Schedule 3 of the Health Amendment Act 2013.
