I, MICHAEL NOONAN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2A) (inserted by section 2 of the Finance (No. 2) Act 2011 (No. 8 of 2011)) of section 55 of the Finance (No. 2) Act 2008 (No. 25 of 2008), hereby order as follows: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Air Travel Tax (Abolition) Order 2014. |
||
|
2. The 1st day of April 2014 is appointed as the day on or after which subsection (2) of section 55 of the Finance (No. 2) Act 2008 (No. 25 of 2008) shall not apply in respect of any departure of a passenger on an aircraft from an airport. |
||
