I, ALAN KELLY, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 and 50 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (No. 21 of 2014), hereby make the following regulations: |
||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Housing Assistance Payment (Section 50) (No. 2) Regulations 2015. |
||
2. Part 4 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (No. 21 of 2014) shall be applied in respect of all classes of qualified households- |
||
(a) with effect from 15 June 2015, by Offaly County Council; and |
||
(b) with effect from 29 June 2015, by Carlow County Council, Clare County Council, Cork City Council and Tipperary County Council. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE |
||
(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation) |

For the purpose of facilitating the phased introduction of the new Housing Assistance Payment scheme under the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 , these Regulations provide that Part 4 of the Act will be applied in respect of all classes of qualified household by- |
||
(a) Offaly County Council, from 15 June 2015; and |
||
(b) Carlow County Council, Clare County Council, Cork City Council and Tipperary County Council, from 29 June 2015. |
