I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 36 of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (No. 15 of 2013) and for the purposes of giving further effect to Regulation (EC) No 1760/2000 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 July 2000, hereby make the following regulations: |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Animal Health and Welfare (Bovine Movement) (Amendment) Regulations 2015. |
||
2. The Animal Health and Welfare (Bovine Movement) Regulations 2014 ( S.I. No. 521 of 2014 ) are amended by substituting for Regulation 8 the following- |
||
“8.A person who contravenes or fails to comply with Article 7 of Regulation (EC) No 1760/2000 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 July 2000 commits an offence. |
||
9. Regulations 3(1), 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are penal provisions to which section 36(4)(b) apply.”. |
