I, ALAN KELLY, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (No. 21 of 2014), hereby order as follows: |
||
1. This Order may be cited as the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) Order 2015. |
||
2. The 13th day of April 2015 is appointed as the day on which sections 6 to 19 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (No. 21 of 2014) come into operation. |

This commencement order brings sections 6 to 19 of the section 62 of the Housing Act 1966 and amendments to the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1997 relating to excluding orders and related matters. |
||
This is the second commencement order in respect of the 2014 Act. The first commencement order ( S.I. No. 404 of 2014 ) brought into operation on 15 September 2014- |
||
• Part 1 of the Act, |
||
• most of Part 4 relating to the Housing Assistance Payments scheme (HAP), and |
||
• HAP-related provisions in Part 5. |
