Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

I, FRANCES FITZGERALD, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015 (No. 64 of 2015), and after consulting with the Minister for Health, hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) Order 2016. | ||
2. The 17th day of October 2016 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015 (No. 64 of 2015) shall come into operation: | ||
(a) Part 1, other than sections 3, 4 and 7; | ||
(b) Part 9, other than section 96, section 102 and Chapter 3. | ||
