Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 31st March, 2017. | ||
I, KATHERINE ZAPPONE, Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 (11) of the Children (Amendment) Act 2015 (No. 30 of 2015), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Children (Amendment) Act 2015 (Section 3(11)) Order 2017. | ||
2. This Order shall come into operation on 31 March 2017. | ||
3. In this Order— | ||
“children detention school” means the children detention school formed by the Children Act 2001 (Amalgamation of Children Detention Schools) Order 2016 ( S.I. No. 273 of 2016 ) and known as Oberstown Children Detention Campus; | ||
“remand centre” means the children detention school designated as a remand centre by the Children Act 2001 (Designation of Remand Centre) Order 2016 ( S.I. No. 274 of 2016 ). | ||
4. The remand centre is specified for the purposes of subsections (4) and (5) of section 3 of the Children (Amendment) Act 2015 (No. 30 of 2015). | ||
5. The children detention school is specified for the purposes of subsections (7), (8) and (9) of section 3 of the Children (Amendment) Act 2015 . | ||
