Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 31st March, 2017. | ||
I, FRANCES FITZGERALD, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 1 of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2017 (No. 2 of 2017), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2017 (Commencement) Order 2017. | ||
2. The 27th day of March 2017 is appointed as the day on which Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8 (other than sections 46, 47, 51(b) and 52) of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2017 (No. 2 of 2017) shall come into operation. | ||
