I, SEAN KYNE, Minister of State at the Department of Rural and Community Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 and 34 of the Charities Act 2009 (No. 6 of 2009), the Charities (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2017 ( S.I. No. 348 of 2017 ) and the Rural and Community Development (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2017 ( S.I. No. 432 of 2017 ), hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Charities Act 2009 (Section 34) Regulations 2017. | ||
2. Each of the following persons is prescribed as a foreign statutory body for the purposes of section 34 (6) of the Charities Act 2009 (No. 6 of 2009): | ||
(a) Charity Commission for England and Wales; | ||
(b) Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. | ||
