Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

I, SIMON HARRIS, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Health Act 2007 (No. 23 of 2007) (as adapted by the Health and Children (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 219 of 2011 )), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Health Act 2007 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2017. | ||
2. The 1st day of January 2018 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Health Act 2007 (No. 23 of 2007) come into operation: | ||
(a) paragraphs (b) and (c) of section 41(1) insofar as the functions under those paragraphs are performable in relation to a designated centre to which paragraph (b) of the definition of designated centre in section 2(1) applies; | ||
(b) Parts 8 and 9 insofar as they relate to a designated centre to which paragraph (b) of the definition of designated centre in section 2(1) applies. | ||
