I, CHARLES FLANAGAN, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Private Security Services Act 2004 (No. 12 of 2004), order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Private Security Services Act 2004 (Commencement) Order 2018. | ||
2. The 1st day of June 2018 is fixed as the day on which section 37 (as amended by section 13 of the Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2011 (No. 23 of 2011)) of the Private Security Services Act 2004 (No. 12 of 2004) comes into operation as respects a security guard (monitoring centre), who as a security guard monitors security equipment which consists of a continuously manned remote centre to which information concerning the status of one or more alarm or cctv systems is reported. | ||
