I, JOE MCHUGH, Minister of State at the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 (2) of the Gaeltacht Act 2012 (No. 34 of 2012) (as adapted by the Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2017 ( S.I. No. 350 of 2017 )) and the Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2017 ( S.I. No. 641 of 2017 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Gaeltacht Act 2012 (Designation of Gaeltacht Language Planning Areas) (No. 3) Order 2018.

2. The areas specified in the Schedule are designated to be a Gaeltacht Language Planning Area for the purposes of section 7(2) of the Gaeltacht Act 2012 (No. 34 of 2012).

SCHEDULE

Language Planning Areas: Ciarraí Thiar, Co. Kerry

(1) The following electoral division areas: Cill Chuáin, Cill Maoilchéadair, Cinn Aird, Daingean Uí Chúis, Dún Chaoin, Dún Urlann, Ceann Trá, Na Gleannta, Márthain, An Mhin Aird, An Baile Dubh, An Clochán and Cé Bhréanainn.

(2) That part of the electoral division area of An tSráidbhaile which consists of the following townlands: Fearann Dealúigh, Formaoil and An Scragán.
