I, HEATHER HUMPHREYS, Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 4 of the Control of Export Act 2008 (No. 1 of 2008) and for the purposes of giving further effect to Council Regulation (EC) No 428/2009 of 5 May 20091 and of giving effect to: | ||
(a) Regulation (EU) No 1232/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 November 20112 | ||
(b) Regulation (EU) No 388/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 April 20123 | ||
(c) Regulation (EU) No 599/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 20144 | ||
(d) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1382/2014 of 22 October 20145 | ||
(e) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2015/2420 of 12 October 20156 | ||
(f) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2016/1969 of 12 September 20167 | ||
(g) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2017/2268 of 26 September 20178 | ||
hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Exports (Dual Use Items) (Amendment) Order 2018 | ||
2. Article 2 of the Control of Exports (Dual Use Items) Order 2009 ( S.I. No. 443 of 2009 ) is amended, in paragraph (1), by the substitution of the following definition of “Council Regulation”: | ||
“ ‘Council Regulation’ means Council Regulation (EC) No 428/2009 of 5 May 2009, as amended by: | ||
(a) Regulation (EU) No 1232/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 November 2011 | ||
(b) Regulation (EU) No 388/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 April 2012 | ||
(b) Regulation (EU) No 599/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 | ||
(d) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1382/2014 of 22 October 2014 | ||
(e) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2015/2420 of 12 October 2015 | ||
(f) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2016/1969 of 12 September 2016 | ||
(g) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2017/2268 of 26 September 2017 | ||
3. The Control of Exports (Dual Use Items) (Amendment) Order 2013 ( S.I. No. 242 of 2013 ) is revoked. | ||
