I, PASCHAL DONOHOE, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving further effect to Council Regulation (EU) 2018/1932 of 10 December 20181 , hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Restrictive Measures and Financial Sanctions) (Eritrea) (Revocation) Regulations 2019. | ||
2. The following are revoked: | ||
(a) European Union (Restrictive Measures) (Eritrea) Regulations 2011 ( S.I. No. 237 of 2011 ); | ||
(b) European Union (Eritrea) (Financial Sanctions) Regulations 2012 ( S.I. No. 499 of 2012 ). | ||

These Regulations give effect to Council Regulation (EC) No. 2018/1932 of 10 December 2018, repealing Regulation (EU) No. 667/2010 concerning certain restrictive measures in respect of Eritrea, by revoking the European Union (Restrictive Measures) (Eritrea) Regulations 2011 ( S.I. No. 237 of 2011 ) and the European Union (Eritrea) (Financial Sanctions) Regulations 2012 ( S.I. No. 499 of 2012 ). | ||
