Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

WHEREAS the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government has, after consultation with the Minister for Health and with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, made a request under subsection (4) of section 251A (inserted by section 9 of the Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (Covid-19) Act 2020 (No. 2 of 2020)) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (No. 30 of 2000); | ||
NOW the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by paragraph (b) of subsection (4) of section 251A of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (No. 30 of 2000) (as adapted by the Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2017 (S.I. No. 358 of 2017)) and having had regard to the matters specified in subsection (5) of that section, hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Planning and Development Act 2000 (Subsection (4) of Section 251A) (No. 2) Order 2020. | ||
2. The date on which the period to be disregarded under subsection (1) of section 251A (inserted by section 9 of the Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (Covid-19) Act 2020 (No. 2 of 2020)) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (No. 30 of 2000) shall end is 23 May 2020. | ||
