Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 31st July, 2020. | ||
The Government, on the request of the Taoiseach and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Statistics (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2020. | ||
2. The powers and duties of the Taoiseach conferred on him by or under - | ||
(a) the Statistics Act 1993 (No. 21 of 1993), and | ||
(b) the Civil Service Regulation Acts 1956 to 2005 and the Public Service Management (Recruitment and Appointments) Act 2004 (No. 33 of 2004), in so far as those Acts relate to the Central Statistics Office, | ||
are delegated to Jack Chambers, Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach. | ||
